What is Resolution? An image resolution determines the amount of pixels (dots / information) in each inch of the picture, hence the measurements "dpi" (Dots Per Inch) or "ppi" (Pixels Per Inch). Obviously, the higher the "dpi" the better the quality of the image.

Typical resolution for internet purposes
Low resolution, ideal for proofing purposes
High resolution, ideal quality for print & graphic applications

How to Set Resolution For your convenience we have produced a set of pre-designed templates where resolution, bleed and trim margins have been set. Please visit Templates Section for further details.

--Or Follow the Instructions Below--

Photoshop - When you create your new project ensure the resolution is set to 300 pixels/inch.

Illustrator - When you create your new project select advanced button and ensure the 'Raster Effects' is set to High (300 ppi).
